Designed a 6 m, 60 kg piston-driven rocket to reach space — currently in the CAD and simulation stage.

Inspired by Half Cat Rocketry and Julian Rice (Vulpes), I and others in ICLR wanted to build a piston spaceshot. Some leads didn't feel it aligned with club priorities, so it rests in the CAD, simulation and PowerPoint stage.

Specs

  • 6 m tall, 20 kg dry mass, 40 kg propellant mass.
  • Sized with Half Cat Sim and RASAero.
