A long-standing dream was to send a spaceshot to space before graduating. While that didn't happen, I channelled years of work into a 6DOF flight simulator for rapid design iteration.


Key Details
- Built a script to auto-run RASAero and extract aerodynamic coefficient tables for any geometry and flight conditions — massively accelerating the design loop.
- The simulator sizes a bipropellant pressure-regulated rocket with any tank material, engine, propellant combo, fin design and more.
- Extended from 1DOF → 3DOF → 6DOF to capture wind effects and coning behaviour.
- Added structural analysis: rocket bending, fin flutter, buckling, deflection — designing structures that are strong enough but not overbuilt.
- One of the most educational projects I've done, covering aerodynamics, structures, sizing and performance.
