During the summer of 2022 I worked as a software developer at Jadason Technology in Hong Kong, building real-time motion-tracking and VR tools.
Camera tracking

What I built

  • A single-camera ball-tracking and projective-mapping system using an IR camera, written in C++ with OpenCV.
  • Adapted multi-camera tracking and motion-capture technology for real-time usage.
  • Developed UDP / OSC transports to stream live tracking data to colleagues working in Unreal Engine.
  • Shipped three VR applications for clients with a small team, in Unity / C# using the XR Interaction Toolkit.
  • Provided user training to students and professors at multiple universities in Hong Kong on the motion-tracking solutions.
